Terms of Service
The agreement between you and SubAlly. The short version: it's a tracker for figures you enter yourself, it's free today, and it isn't financial advice.
Last updated 17 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and VersaSphere, which operates SubAlly. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not, please do not use SubAlly.
2. What SubAlly is
SubAlly is a manual subscription tracker. You enter the services you pay for and it organises them — totals, a category breakdown, a renewal calendar, a weekly email and a waste score based on what you have marked as used.
It is not connected to your bank, your card or your inbox, and it does not detect, authorise, cancel, refund or stop any payment. Cancelling a subscription is something you do with the provider directly. Removing a subscription from SubAlly only removes your record of it.
3. Your account
- Give an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself.
- Passwords must be at least 10 characters.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at admin@versasphere.ca if you think someone else has access to it.
- One person per account. Don't share credentials.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use SubAlly to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- access another user's data, probe or interfere with the service's security, or get around the limits on your account;
- scrape it, resell it, or hammer it with automated traffic beyond ordinary personal use;
- upload anything malicious.
5. Accuracy, reminders and exchange rates
SubAlly is only as accurate as what you put into it. Every total, chart and renewal date is calculated from figures you entered. It does not verify them against any bank, card or merchant.
- Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. The weekly email is sent on a best-effort basis and can be delayed, filtered as spam, or fail to arrive. Do not rely on it as your only defence against an unwanted charge.
- Exchange rates are indicative. They come from a free public feed, refreshed roughly weekly, and are there to give you an approximate combined total. They are not live rates and are not suitable for accounting, tax or any transaction.
- Suggested prices are a starting point. Prices prefilled when you pick a service from the catalogue are approximate and drift over time. Check them against what you are actually charged.
Nothing in SubAlly is financial advice. It is a record-keeping tool. Decisions about your money are yours.
6. Availability and changes
SubAlly is free to use today. If we introduce paid plans, we will give existing account holders notice before any charge applies to them.
The service is provided as-is. We do not promise any particular uptime, and we may add, change or remove features. Anything described as planned or “coming soon” is an intention, not a commitment, and you should not sign up in reliance on it.
7. Your data
The subscription records you enter are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display them back to you, and to send the emails you have switched on. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who processes it.
8. Ending it
You can stop using SubAlly at any time and ask us to delete your account at admin@versasphere.ca. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SubAlly is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any subscription charge you were billed, any renewal you did not cancel in time, or any decision you made on the basis of figures shown in the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will tell account holders by email about changes that materially affect their rights. Continuing to use SubAlly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of your own country or province of residence.
